extensive grounds of garden and apple orchard, a short distance from
the small market town of Halesworth and six miles from Southwold on the
unspoilt Suffolk Heritage coast.
Gavelcroft derives
its name from the Dutch for 'gabled croft', and the Dutch gable-ends
and dormers remain today. Sarah and Mike Hart have lived here since
1987, Sarah a former speech therapist and Mike a retired professional
double bass player.
The accommodation comprises:

floor level, with its own entrance to the garden, en suite (bath and
shower) easy chairs, tea and coffee facilties and colour TV. Views
onto the garden and orchard.

Room. On the first floor with en suite bathroom, easy
chairs, colour TV, tea and coffee facilties and views over the large
garden, the orchard and the farmland beyond. This room also has its
own entrance from the garden.
